The UK’s leading weight-loss organisation Slimming World has opened its new 75,000sq ft building in Alfreton, Derbyshire. Using Deeplas Twinson Composite Decking, a beautiful balcony area has been built to create an outdoor space for Slimming World Consultants, employees and visitors to enjoy.

The Slimming World extension is situated on the 4.6-acre site of the company’s existing head office in Alfreton, it will be used as an advanced training centre for the 5,500 franchisee Consultants who run Slimming World groups in their local communities, as well as creating more space for its head office employees, supporting the company’s future growth plans.

Over recent years, the trend for taking the indoors outside to blend the boundaries between internal and external spaces has increased. As a result, Deeplas has seen a rise in demand for its Composite Decking to be used in creating alfresco living and working spaces.
